Pamela Anderson has revealed that renovations on her Malibu home have taken longer than expected, meaning that she has been living on a trailer park since 2008.

The model moved into the static home two years ago with her sons, but disputes with builders have caused delays.

Speaking to the News of the World, she said: “They were spending all this money on the house that I wasn’t intending. Then I had to pay my taxes and people who owed me money couldn’t pay me. It was my fault because I didn’t manage it properly and I think I was an easy target. But everything’s okay now.”

She added that her two sons love living close to the beach: “The kids are there with their friends. They have their surfboards. It’s like the movie Stand By Me. They have their independence. They get home, grab their surfboards and go straight to the beach. But my house will be finished in about a month.”

Anderson also admitted that she loves being close to nature and working with PETA: “Sometimes I’m given the job of releasing animals back into the wild, but I’m the worst driver and have no sense of direction. I was given a box with a crow in it and we got so lost. I went to three different places to try to find where they’d originally caught her!”
